What to look for on the menu
Start with these Korean names if you want to compare the dishes on your phone with the menu at the shop:
- 떡볶이 — tteokbokki
- 쫄면 — jjolmyeon
- 공갈만두 — gonggal mandu
The last item deserves a closer look. The restaurant’s delivery menu describes its gonggal mandu as hollow, with no filling. Expect an empty fried shell rather than the filled dumpling you might picture from the word mandu.
For a price reference, the Baemin delivery menu displayed on Naver lists tteokbokki at ₩5,000, jjolmyeon at ₩8,000, and ten gonggal mandu at ₩5,000.
